Tamil Nadu 5 Day Ultimate Itinerary

Arrive at Chennai Airport by 1 PM. Take the Chennai Metro to Chennai Central, where you can see the Heritage Railway Station Building, Ripon Building, and Madras High Court.

Begin your tour on Beach Road, which features four major attractions close to each other: MGR Memorial, Marina Beach, the Lighthouse, and Santhome Church. You can spend the rest of your time at the beach or visit Kapaleeshwar Temple, Valluvar Kottam, and Saravana Store The Legend at Usman Road (T. Nagar). After dinner, board the train for Rameshwaram from Chennai Egmore Station. Overnight on the train.

At 7:30 AM, enjoy the view of the century-old Pamban Bridge, an engineering marvel built by the British in 1914, as your train crosses it. You can also see the parallel road bridge. Take an auto rickshaw from the railway station to your hotel near the Rameshwaram temple (cost: Rs 100).

Check into your hotel or Dharamshala quickly, as the temple is closed from 12 noon to 4 PM. Have the driver drop you at the police barricade near the west gate (vehicles are not allowed beyond this point). Visit Ram Padam, the highest point in Rameshwaram, located 5 kms from the city. Make sure to visit Kalam House and Dhanushkodi. Stay overnight in Rameshwaram.

Wake up at your convenience and take a bus to Madurai, which is a 3.5-hour road journey. Relax at your hotel and visit the Meenakshi Temple after 4 PM. Board the train for Kanyakumari at 1 AM.

After a few hours of sleep, start your day at 9 AM. Visit the Kanyakumari Temple, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Gandhi Memorial, the beach, View Tower, and Bharat Mata Mandir.

Your return journey begins.  Checkout from your hotel and start your return journey . You can go to chennai and then take your flight back to your home
