Leave for one of the most beautiful views of Kinnaur Valley.Travel along the Sutlej river till Karcham from where you will take a right turn towards Chitkul following the Baspa river.

Chitkul is the last inhabited village before the Indo-China border and offers picturesque views of the Himalayan landscapes. Here, you can visit the famous ‘Hindustan ka Akhri Dhaba’ for a hearty meal.

Start your journey and cross Sumdo to enter Spiti Valley’s stunning landscapes.

After a short 3 km from Sumdo, turn right for a detour to Gue Monastery and its ancient 500-Year-Old Mummy.

Explore Tabo Monastery, a timeless Buddhist enclave in India and the Himalayas.

Drive towards pin valley and  get breath taking views of Pin Valley

Proceed to Kaza for check-in, marking the end of the day’s adventures.

First you will be driving to Langza, a village that is home to the ancient Lang Temple which is estimated to be around 1000 years old.

Then you will be visiting the highest village in Asia, Komik, which literally translates to ‘eye of a snow cock’.

You will then proceed to Hikkim for a visit to the world’s highest post office and send postcards to your loved ones.

Then proceed to Chicham Bridge which is also Asia’s highest bridge.

Next, ride towards the world-famous Key Monastery and walk past its beautifully painted walls.

You will then go farther up the valley to the picturesque village of Kibber to treasure the expanses of beautiful landscapes and immeasurable beauty of the snow-tipped mountains.

Retrace your path towards Kalpa in Kinnaur Valley.

On your way back, take a small detour towards the left to visit the tiny hamlet of Dhankar and stop by the majestic fort monastery at Dhankar which is situated amongst the rocky spurs and is said to be 1000 years old.

If time permits, do take an hour’s climb above the village to visit the stunning turquoise Dhankar Tso or Dhankar Lake to enjoy stunning views of the valley.

You will then start your journey further leaving behind Spiti Valley and at Powari take a right towards ReoKong Peo, which is the main town of Kinnaur district from where you will proceed to Kalpa.
