Arunachal Pradesh 5 Day Ziro Valley

Guwahati Airport/ Railway station. On arrival at Guwahati airport, we start our journey to Itanagar the capital of Arunachal Pradesh which takes around 8 hrs. On reaching Itanagar check in at a hotel and spend the night at rest.

Drive to Ziro valley early morning through scenic road which takes around 5 hrs and on arrival check-in at hotel. In the afternoon visit  visit Siikhe Lake. Post that visit the winery and enjoy local wines made from Kiwi, wild apple etc. In the evening return to hotel/homestay and spend the night.  

After breakfast, embark on a guided tour of traditional Apatani villages in old Ziro. Observe the distinctive lifestyle of the Apatani people, noting the traditional attire, women with tattooed faces, and nose plugs, and homes made of cane and bamboo. In the afternoon, visit the lush paddy fields to learn about the wetland cultivation method where paddy and fish are cultivated together. You can also visit an Emu farm. Later, explore the pine grove and Tarin fish farm.

Start our day with a visit to Sidheshwar Nath Temple where you can see the 25 feet tall Shiva linga one of the largest Shivalinga of India and start your return journey back to Tezpur

After breakfast at hotel drive back to Guwahati and drop off at your desired location. Optionally if you are going via flight , drop off at Itanagar airport for your onward journey.
